General Meeting will be held at the
Military Heritage Museum‘s Auditorium
900 W Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Doors open for meeting at 5:00 pm
Open Forum at 6:00 pm
Meeting at 7:00 pm followed by a presentation
Raffle after presentation

We are giving our members three ways to participate in our General Meeting.

1) They can join us at 900 W Marion Ave in Punta Gorda
2) They can view the presentation live with Zoom, but everyone will be muted and there will be no interaction at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88424304649
3) They can view the Zoom meeting after 10 AM Wednesday morning after the meeting at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7Jpkwhi8Sdl-FQSdjnY7Og

Are masks required at the museum?
Yes, and there are plenty of seats to maintain social distancing

Do I need to have my membership card with me?
Yes, members must wear their membership card for free entrance to the building if they come early.

What if I do not have my membership card?
You may renew your membership and receive a temporary card at the meeting or pick up your card there.

Are we going to have any raffles?
Yes, there will door prizes, a 50-50, and a laptop raffle.

Will there be a “free” table?
No. We will no longer have a ”free” table on the night of the meeting.

Will there be a “basic” class?
No, both basic and intermediate topics will be covered during the open forum

May we bring food or drinks into the auditorium?
No, except for capped water bottles

Will the meeting be online with Zoom?
Yes, the meeting will be on Zoom for viewing but not interactive.

Will the meeting be recorded?
Yes, we will use Zoom to record the meeting.

Is there plenty of parking?
Yes, as you come in from W Marion Ave there are parking spaces under the building and an elevator to bring you up to the main floor. There is an additional parking area in the back. You may also come in the front stairs to the lobby.

What is the best way to find the museum?
From 41 south from Port Charlotte, come south over the bridge and take a right at the traffic light onto W Marion Ave. The museum will be a few blocks down on the right side.

From 75 south from Port Charlotte, come over the bridge on 75 and take the first exit (Olympia) it will turn into E Marian Ave. Go straight at the traffic light at 41 and the museum will be a few blocks down on the right side.

From 41 north in Punta Gorda, take a left at the traffic light before the bridge onto W Marion Ave. The museum will be a few blocks down on the right side.
